What Are Extracted Parties?
Overview
When you upload documents to an Object Company (such as structure charts, articles of association, shareholder registers, or identification documents), Magic AI automatically scans these documents and extracts information about individuals and companies mentioned within them.
These AI-identified parties appear in the Extracted Parties list, where you can review, validate, and accept them to become formal Parties in the system.
Key Benefits
Automated data extraction: AI finds party information instead of you manually searching through documents
Source verification: See exactly where each piece of information came from
Time savings: Review and validate rather than type and research
Accuracy: AI highlights source text so you can verify correctness
Multi-language support: Translate documents on the fly to understand foreign language content

How the Highlighting Works
The yellow highlighting in the document viewer corresponds to the fields on the left. When the AI extracts information like:
A name from a structure chart
A date of birth from an ID document
A registration number from articles of association
...it highlights that exact text in yellow so you can verify:
✅ The information is correct
✅ The information is valid
✅ The information is up-to-date
✅ The AI interpreted it correctly
This eliminates the need to manually search through documents to find and verify party information.
