Purpose & Workflow
Magic Translate offers a centralised hub for managing document translations across your compliance workflows. The system maintains translation history, provides filtering capabilities, and ensures consistent translation quality for regulatory documentation.
Getting Started
Access Translation Navigate to Tools > Translate from the main navigation dropdown available anywhere within the Magic platform.
Translation Management Use the comprehensive filtering and history system to track all translation activities across your organisation.

Translation History: Central area displaying all completed and in-progress translations

Filter Controls
Search: Find specific documents, languages, or translation status
Status: Filter by translation status (All Statuses, In Progress, Completed, Failed, etc.)
Date Range: Filter translations by creation or completion date (All Time, Last 30 Days, etc.)
Creating New Translations
Step 1: Initiate New Translation
Click the + New Translation button to open the translation configuration dialog.

Step 2: Upload Documents
Document Upload: Drag and drop files directly onto the upload area or click to browse and select
Comprehensive Format Support:
Documents: PDF (including scanned documents)
Office Files: DOC, DOCX, PPT, PPTX, XLS, XLSX
Images: PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, TIFF, BMP, WEBP
No Size Limits: Process files of any size or page count
Batch Processing: Upload multiple files at once for simultaneous translation
Step 3: Configure Translation Languages
Source Language:
Select original document language or choose "Auto-detect" for automatic identification
Automatic Detection: System intelligently identifies source language for you
Mixed Language Handling: Automatically detects and translates each page based on its content for documents containing multiple languages
Target Language: Choose destination language from 200+ available options, including major languages and regional dialects
Advanced Language Support: Comprehensive coverage from major international languages to specialized regional dialects
Step 4: Set Output Options
Output Format Options:
Separate: Clean PDF with translated pages followed by original pages for side-by-side comparison
Overlay: Translation overlaid on original document for easy comparison and reference
Both: Get both versions in one download for maximum flexibility
Completion Options:
Email me when ready: Receive notification when translation is complete
Automatic Processing: Translations begin immediately upon configuration and process automatically
